Hello, my name is Stephen Rechif and I've been trying for a couple weeks to get a voter registration table set up on campus. All I need is an authorized member of the Politics Society or an adviser to request the table space for me. Attached is the back and forth email I've been exchanging with Event Scheduling, starting with an email they sent me this morning. Thanks.

Becuase you were not in our system as an authorized user with a campus department or student group, I thought you would be considered a vendor. While you are a member of the USF Politics Society, you are still not in our scheduling system- only the 3 authorized members of the club, and the adviser, are allowed to book spaces on campus. The three contacts/advisor are registered with Student Leadership & Engagement office. You will need one of them to request this tabling in order for it to be reserved. Please have them send an email as we have to have all requests in writing.

* Just so you know, there is space in Harney on Tuesday, 10/9 and Tuesday, 10/16-- but there is not any space Thursday of this week or next week.

Hello, it has been my understanding that since I am not a vendor, I do not go through this process but now that i am a member of the USF Politics Society, can request the table and three chairs on behalf of a USF Club?




With help from the Department of Election: San Francisco, USF's Politics Society and USF's Events Scheduling I hope to man a table with registration forms and voting information, giving the students, alumni, staff and anyone else who is qualified, an opportunity to register to vote. Although I have been licensed by the department of Elections San Francisco, this is strictly a volunteer service.


May I please have:


1 table and 3 chairs
@ Harney Plaza near the McLaren/Cowell corner of the plaza
on Tuesday and Thursday (beginning this Tuesday October 9th)
@ 11AM to 3PM


I hope to continue this schedule for a couple weeks then change it somehow in order to contact a different group.
